I support companies in developing technologies, markets and businesses, from the first idea to practical implementation.

Extrusion blow moulding has been part of my professional life since the late 1980s.

I started on the technical side, developing control software and commissioning complex blow moulding lines. My career then took me into international sales, business development and management.

For many years I was Managing Partner and CSO of Kautex Maschinenbau, with global responsibility for sales and international service across automotive, industrial and packaging applications.

Today I use this combination of technical understanding, market knowledge and international experience to support companies throughout the blow moulding industry.

About Andreas Lichtenauer

I am an engineer by training, a salesman by experience and an entrepreneur by mindset.

My career started in software development for extrusion blow moulding machines. It later took me into international sales and, for several years, to China, where I built and managed sales and service structures for the Asian market.

From 2005 to 2023, I was Managing Partner and CSO of Kautex Maschinenbau. During this period, I was responsible for global sales across all major product segments as well as international service and helped drive the internationalisation of the company.

What interests me today is not producing lengthy PowerPoint presentations.

I prefer understanding a problem, bringing the right people together and finding a solution that works in practice.

Technology matters. Markets matter. But in the end, business is always about people.
